  • Prices, Deposits, Fees & Cancellation Policy
    Prices: -Daycare: $30 per dog per day weekly daycare, $40 per dog per day for drop in daycare services. -Boarding: $40 per night -Grooming: Varies- please call or come in for a quote Deposits: -Grooming: No deposit needed. Please see cancellation policy below. -Daycare: Must pre-pay prior to being able to stay for Daycare. Please see cancellation policy below. -Boarding: All boarding dogs are required to pay a 50% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon pick up at the end of their stay. Please see cancellation policy below. Cancellation Policy: -Grooming: Grooming is booked by appointment only. A 24-hour cancellation policy is required to cancel your grooming appointment. A $25 fee will be charged for any appointment not canceled 48-hours in advance. Any no call/no show appointment will require full payment at the time of next booking and will be charged a $50 fee for not calling/not showing for their previous appointment. Grooming Staff has the right to refuse any pet for any reason. -Daycare: All Daycare dogs must sign up in advance for a reserved Daycare spot. Owners must pre-pay for Daycare prior to the dog being able to play. We require 48-hours advance notice if you wish to cancel your Daycare reservation spot. If you do not give advance notice in accordance with our cancellation policy, you will be responsible for paying for the day of Daycare you reserved. No call/no show will require payment for the day. Any dog that no calls, no shows more than once will be removed from the Daycare Program and be required to reapply. -Boarding: We require 48-hours advance notice if you wish to cancel your boarding reservation or schedule an early pick-up for your dog. If you do not give advance notice in accordance with our cancellation policy, you will be responsible for paying for the entire stay. Discounts: Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts as we are a small facility and are limited to the number of dogs we are able to have at one time.   • Hours of Operation
    Zion Hill Kennel is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m.. We are closed to the public on Sundays, however our staff is here to care for your pets. Daycare runs Monday through Friday. All Daycare dogs must be dropped off between the hours of 6:00 am to 8:00 am. No dogs will be accepted for Daycare past 8:00 a.m. sharp. Daycare ends at 5:00 p.m. sharp. All Daycare dogs must be picked up by 5:30 p.m. at the latest, to avoid the $5 late pick up fee. Any dog not picked up from Daycare by 5:45 p.m. will stay the night with us and be charged for a night of Boarding on top of the other fees. Boarding is available to all dogs, every day of the week. We are closed to the public on Sundays, so dogs are not available to be picked up until Monday morning. There is no minimum stay requirements. Dogs can be dropped off Monday -Friday until 5 p.m. and Saturdays until 10 a.m., but we ask that you let us know when you are picking up so that we can have your dog ready to go when you get there. All Boarding dogs must be picked up by 10:00 a.m. the morning of their departure day to avoid being charged for another night stay. Grooming is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. by appointment only. Please call to schedule your pet(s) for grooming.
  • Observed Holidays and Rates 2025
    Zion Hill Kennel will be closed to the public for all major Holidays listed below in our calendar. In order to compensate our dedicated employees who work on all major holidays, our boarding rate will be increased by $10 per dog per night for all major holidays and dates listed below. 2025 Holiday Dates: January: 1 & 20 closed February: None March: None April: 20 closed May: 24, 25, & 26 closed June: 19 closed July: 3 close at 10 am & 4 Closed August: 30 & 31 closed September: 1 closed October: 13 closed November: 26 & 27 closed December: 24 & 25 closed; 31 close at 10 a.m. Holidays Observed: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day Weekend, Juneteenth, 4th of July Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Columbus Day/Indigenous People Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day (plus the day before), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
  • Vaccine Requirements?
    Boarding and Daycare: -Rabies -DHPP (Distemper) -Bordetella (Kennel Cough) -Negative Fecal (Annually) Grooming: -Rabies *Please contact us if your pet is not able to receive vaccinations. We will require a letter from your Vet. We also accept titers from your Vet's office.*
  • Do I pay extra for my dog if they are on medications?
    No. Some pets require daily medication. We never charge owners for their pets medications. Please provide our staff with the best way to administer your pet's medication(s) whether its hot dogs, pill pockets, chicken, etc. Please inform us if your pet has specific needs with their medications Example: eat prior to meds, feed 1 hour after meds, etc
  • What do I need to bring for my dog for Boarding?
    The only thing you need to bring is your dogs food, leash and collar. We provide the rest. Please bring your dog's food in individual baggies in meal-sized portions and label each bag/container with your dog’s first and last names. We cannot accept large bags or containers of food. *Don't forget your pets medications if they are on any.* We administer medications to your pets free of charge.
  • What if my dog runs out of food while Boarding?
    If your dog runs out of food while boarding with us, Zion Hill Kennel offers a supply of our dry mix food at a charge of $3.00 per feeding. If the dog is on a special diet, Zion Hill Kennel will go pick up the food for the Owner, if available. Owner will be charged for the exact price of the food, $1.50 per mile gas fee (there and back), and the $3.00 per feeding fee.
  • Do you board cats?
    Cat are boarded on a case by case basis only.
  • Do you Groom cats?
    Yes. Our Groomer would love to groom your cat. Give us a call today to set up your cat's appointment for grooming.
  • Is there long term Boarding available?
    We offer long term Boarding on a case by case bases. Any dog(s) staying over 2 weeks will need to be approved by Kennel Owner and Boarding fees need to be paid in full prior to boarding. Any long term Boarding fees are non-refundable. If the owner needs to extend the stay beyond the departure date or dates already paid for, Kennel Owner will need to approve and the extended dates will need to be paid for in advance.
  • Do you have breed restrictions?
    No. All dogs have their own personality and are given the same love, attention and respect no matter their breed(s). However, any dogs showing signs of aggression will not be allowed. Staff reserves the right to refuse any dog that shows any signs of aggression towards staff or other animals.
  • Are there age restrictions?
    Boarding: There is no age restrictions for Boarding. If you feel your pet(s) are able to be Boarded, then they are welcome. Daycare: As long as your puppy is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations and passes the evaluation, we allow your puppy(s) in Daycare. Senior dogs are also welcome in Daycare as long as they pass the evaluation. Every dog is treated on a case by case basis. Grooming: There is no age restrictions for grooming.
  • Do my pets need to be spayed or neutered to play in Daycare?
    We do not require dogs to be altered. All dogs are evaluated on a case by case basis. Females in heat will not be allowed to play in the group for 30 days past their first signs of heat. We have a separate yard we can play with them in but they cannot rejoin the group until they are fully out of heat. Any unaltered male dogs will be excused from the program if they are consistently mounting other dogs and will not be allowed to play in groups with unaltered females.
